Service Department @ Michael's H-D

The service department is open five days a week:

Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Mike Kieber~

I started my career in the motorcycle industry in 1964, working for a large dealership in Southern California. I was an avid motorcycle racer in AMA's District 37.

Between my six motorcycles, I average over 30,000 miles a year riding. It's not unusual for me to pack up a bike on Friday night, ride it to work on Saturday and then take a week and explore the Western States. I've riden to Milwaukee for Harley's 90th and 100th anniversary parties, riden in every state in the union except Hawaii and I am planning on ridding to Alaska in 2011.

I started my career with Harley-Davidson in 1992 as Service Manager for a dealership in Southern California. I worked for them for several years before moving to Northern California in 2000. Over the years as Service Manager, it has become very apparent to me that quality work and customer service are top priority in this business. I strive to make our customers get their monies worth when they bring their bike in for a scheduled service or when they want to do some visual or performance upgrades.

I'm very proud of the staff in Michael's Harley-Davidson's service department. They all take their job very seriously and want the best for you, our customers. If you have not visited our service department or have in the past, please stop in and say hello. We would love to earn your service business.

Ron Magill~

The Shop Foreman...   He has been with Michael's Harley-Davidson for since March of 1989, and pretty much anyone who has been around bikes for a while knows and values Ron's expertise. He has over 35 years experience and 20 of those with Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. He owns a Red 86' Wide Glide® that you will see everyday ... rain or shine. Ron is a true Enthusiast!

Kathy Millard~

She is the Assistant Manager for Service, as well as the warranty manager. She has been with us for since October of 1999. She rides a 2000 Dyna® Super Glide® that she absolutly loves! The best way to describe Kathy is... If anyone can do it, Kathy can! She's just amazing.

Daniel Morales~

Daniel is an MMI grad. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the Michael's Harley-Davidson service department, especially when it comes to electrical work. Daniel has two other passions in his life besides wrenching and those are his two daughters (ages 2 and 4). He has been with our family for a since December of 2004 and we don't know what we ever did without him.

Mike Rivas~

Mike has been with Michael's Harley-Davidson since June of 2009. He is an MMI graduate and is such an asset to the service department. His current ride is a Buell  XB9R. Mike has been working on motorcycles since 2005. Buell’s are his specialty, but he enjoys working on all motorcycles.

Mike takes a lot of pride in his work and is excellent at trouble shooting problems. He is also a certified Dyno-Jet tech. If you need the last little bit of horsepower out of your bike, he’s the one who can get if for you.

Jessie Taber ~

He is the backbone of the service department. Jessie does everything that is needed here at Michael's Harley-Davidson, from setting up new motorcycles to detailing.

When you purchase a new motorcycle from Michael’s Harley-Davidson nine times out of ten it was probably set up by Jessie. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. He wants it right the first time, from uncrating the bike to making sure it is spotless when you take delivery. He does an excellent job.

Jessie rides a 1984 FXR; he has done some customizing to it. His bike is a work in progress, always changing, always improving. This is his daily ride and of course he keeps it spotless.

Jessie has recently been promoted to Service Technician and is in the process of completing all of his online training. He will soon be changing tires and performing minor services on Harleys for us. Don’t worry he’ll still be detailing motorcycles in his spare time.

Someday he will get that much needed vacation (definitely not soon enough). Not only does he stay busy at work, but he also has two wonderful girls to keep up with. Thank you for your   hard work and dedication!
